McCandlish Lillard Senior Associate David Murphy recently presented on the topic “Nuts & Bolts: How to Get a Plaintiffโs Employment Claim to Trial” at the Virginia Mountain/Valley Lawyer’s Alliance (VMVLA) Annual Fall Seminar, discussing various types of employment law claims including discrimination, retaliation, and harassment/hostile work environment, and other legal and tactical considerations related to damages and how to successfully get the plaintiff’s claim to trial.
The VMVLA was established to aid in maintaining the honor and dignity of the legal profession and to promote diversity, equity and inclusion in the practice of the law and access to justice in the Mountain/Valley Region of Virginia and across the Commonwealth to meet the needs of attorneys whose practices are not centered in major urban areas of the state.
