Dianya Pu
AssociateDianya (Dani) Pu is an associate attorney working primarily in the firmโs Fairfax Office; however, she represents clients across Northern Virginia. Daniโs practice focuses on family law, guardianships/conservatorships, trust & estates, and litigation.
Dani has been in the practice of law since 2018, after she graduated from the George Washington University Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctorate with Honors and where she was a member of the Law Review. Previous to law school, Dani received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Chicago. Since the beginning of her practice, Dani has focused her practice on issues relating to divorces, separation, child custody and visitation, equitable distribution, and support. Dani understands the uniquely personal nature of family law, and strives to combine zealous advocacy with an empathetic approach. She enjoys working with clients one-on-one to help navigate them through this often emotional and difficult chapter of their lives.
Since joining the ML team in 2022, Dani has applied her experience in working with families and family law litigation to civil litigation and estate litigation. She represents prospective guardians and conservators of incapacitated adults and soon-to-be-adults through the Court appointment and qualification process as well as represents clients faced with disputed guardianship/conservatorship contests and beneficiary disputes. Additionally, Dani assist clients with estate planning, including drafting wills, trusts, deeds and other critical documents to ensure that each clientโs objectives for their own financial planning can be carried out effectively.
