Liheng (Lee) He

Liheng (Lee) He is a law clerk at McCandlish Lillard, where she assists with estate planning, estate and trust administration, and tax-related matters.

Before law school, Lee spent several years in corporate finance and securities, advising high-net-worth individuals and working on complex financial transactions. She was drawn to estate planning by the unique intersection of technical complexity and human impact — the opportunity to help individuals and families navigate some of life’s most meaningful decisions. She also gained hands-on experience through the DC Bar Pro Bono Future Planning Division, providing estate planning assistance to underserved communities.

Lee received her J.D. with honors from The George Washington University Law School, where she focused her coursework on tax and estate planning. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (China).

Outside of work, she enjoys history, philosophy, golf, all things chocolate, and the simple beauties of everyday life.
